Amanda watched my kids for four years while she was in high school. She cared for them all day summers, and before and after school. She was the best sitter we ever had, I was sad to see her leave for college, but knew she would do well when I found out she was going into education. She worked with the boys on letters, numbers, colors, etc., played games with them and limited their TV watching. She was also good on balanced lunches and limited snacks. She exercised with my kids to show them exercise was fun. She set a high standard for my expectations for a sitter, I have yet to find anyone who comes close to her.
