I had the pleasure of caring for my aging mother and for the last 2 years, a dear client in her late 90's. My mother had dementia, lung disease and was a cancer survivor. My client lived at home and required daily 12 hour care. Their care plan included daily hygiene, medication management, doctor appointments, meal preparation, laundry, and companionship. I found it very important to keep both my mother and my client engaged by talking with them, listening to their stories and doing things that they enjoyed, such as playing cards, doing puzzles, and listening to the music.
I'm certified in Healthcare BLS CPR which includes defibrillator usage and first aid (adult, child & infant). In addition, I have completed the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program. I love helping people, making them feel better and hopefully make their day happy. I am a very caring and compassionate person and would love the opportunity to help care for your loved one.
