About Amanda

Hi there! I am Amanda, I have a 10-year-old daughter and a step son. I have a chihuahua and a cat and love all animals! I have been working with children well over 10 years and have worked in a daycare and currently work as a nanny. I'd describe my personality as goofy, nurturing and intuitive. I like working with kids because watching them figure out the world and being a part of that journey is the most rewarding experience. I started working with kids when I was about 12 I used to babysit my nephew and the love for kids blossomed from there. In my spare time, I like to take my daughter to cooks forest or to different activities and museums. I also enjoy going to see my boyfriend play in his band when they have shows. One thing you should know about me is I'm a goofy person! Don't be surprised if your child asks you to 'guess what' and then say 'chicken bu*t'! I love to have fun and be silly. My skills include keeping a calm demeanor when facing difficult behaviors.
