About Amanda

In high school, I babysat on occasion for neighbors and family friends. I graduated in 2007 with a BS in Chemistry from Boston College. After college, I was employed by MIT as a research technician for three years. I am currently focusing on music and play in bands locally and nationally (Vocals, Guitar, Bass, and Synthesizer). I have previously tutored 5th grade students as preparations for a Pennsylvania State Assessment Test, a high school chemistry student and a higher level (calculus) math student. In my most recent experience, I helped guide and monitor students at a science-based camp at 826 Boston. I am an honest, reliable person who is able to help with homework and chores around the house (light cleaning, laundry). I also love playing and creating games or activities.
