I received my first bachelors degree in psychology in 2013. I worked for 2 years as a behavior health specialist, primarily with clients diagnosed with autism, IDD, and Down Syndrome. After graduating nursing school I worked at a small hospital on a cardiac care unit. In April 2020, I began working at a much larger unit as a float pool nurse. I love being a nurse, but I am taking a break for the summer to decide what my next direction is. I have a special touch with dementia patients, especially if they exhibit behavioral issues.
