About Amanda

I'm a college professor teaching courses including behavior management, special education methods, literacy intervention, literacy and communication in the adapted curriculum, and more. I'm an expert in early reading development; I have tons of experience with students who have learning disabilities (including dyslexia), intellectual disabilities, autism, ADHD, physical disabilities, and students who do not use speech to communicate. I'm also able to tutor any subject at the elementary level. My favorite part of teaching is planning and delivering individualized instruction tailored to a child's specific needs.
