About Amanda

Hi there! I am a experienced teacher, educator and caretaker looking to lend a helping hand. I am high energy and feel comfortable with groups of kids ages pre k through high school. When it comes to youth; I'm a strong believer in supportive and stable environments, creative expression, and the ability to assess needs via different situations. My experience varies from working in public schools, working as a youth mentor in multiple non profits to nannying for various families. My work with youth has been within a multitude of capacities ranging from teaching them bike mechanics, gardening, stem education, and leading after school programs. I have worked consistently with youth for the past 5 years and hoping to find a mutual beneficial relationship that allows me to continue to do so.
