About Alyssa

I am looking for a part-time job throughout the school year. I have experience caring for neighbors growing up; however, my most prominent care experience has been as a Personal Care Assistant for students with disabilities. I have spent about 18 months doing this and assist these students with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, cooking, cleaning, running errands, and transportation. In addition, I have experience working with children from many different backgrounds. I have volunteered as a youth golf coach and gymnastics coach in Gainesville. I taught 3rd grade religious formation classes for three years in Michigan. I volunteered at a summer camp for children with autism in Galway, Ireland. I also taught English to students in a nonprofit school in Rwanda. All in all, I love working with children and am always open to new experiences.
