My name is Alyssa and I am 32. I have been babysitting since I was about 11 and I love what I do. I do have a wide variety of experience although I have stayed with certain families over the years. I have great references if you would like them, just ask. I love children and I think they have the most amazing imagination and mind, and yet have so much to learn. I have not come across a child that I did not get along with. I am responsible, but I do have that inner kid and love to play. I love reading and arts and crafts, as well as playing outdoors. I have a Masters degree in Human Resource Management however I am finding it hard to find HR jobs after taking off time to take care of my mother who has alztheimers and dementia, so I am looking to go back into child care. Alyssa was always the most sought-after baby-sitter in our neighborhood. The children loved her and the parents loved her. An additional asset is that she loves animals and they seem to love her, too. She is cheerful, and makes a whole-hearted effort to engage kids in activities and games apart from watching TV, and enjoys reading to them. She is also a great cook and knowledgeable about nutrition, having been in the culinary program at the Colorado Institute for the Arts. She is honest and trustworthy. I recommend her very highly.
