About Alyssa

One thing you should know about me is that I am an "Oldest Daughter" meaning that I was basically born to be a babysitter. In all seriousness I have worked with kids since I was a kid myself and have always loved the rewarding feeling that comes with helping and teaching them. I currently work with an amazing summer camp/ daycare where I work with up to 12 kids or less with ages varying from two years to 12. My skills include creativity, organization and understanding. Finding creative ways to get kids distracted and having fun is definitely one of my strong points. I enjoy organization as well and love making up games to get the kids to help me clean up after playtime. Additionally I feel like understanding is a big skill that I pride myself on. I am good at talking with children and have a lot of patience, especially with children with learning and social disabilities that may need more understanding.
