About Alyssa

As the oldest of 7 (and now an aunt of 1!) babysitting comes with the territory. Luckily, I found that getting to help out my parents and spend time with my crazy younger siblings was a great deal. From an early age, I began volunteering in Vacation Bible School, my local library, and babysitting for neighbors, on top of school and working part time throughout high school. After graduating, I spent the summer before college as a full-time babysitter/tutor in my neighborhood. I have amazing memories of the children and families from that summer, and it would be awesome to make new ones! I also currently help watch my 11-month-old nephew while my cousin works during the week, so I'm very well-versed in babbling and stacking blocks!
