I worked for over 17 years as a registered nurse with a bachelors degree in nursing. I have retired from bedside and licensed nursing. I would rather care for one person at a time, and be able to relate to them as a person and hopefully a friend. Please check my recommendations below. . I'd describe my personality as warm, humorous, caring. I like caring for seniors because I relate well to them, I learn from them, I find them very interesting. My last position which I left on very good terms, was as a charge nurse at a New Orleans nursing home, providing skilled care. Most of my experience has been with seniors I have many years of experience in home healthcare as both a nurse, and an aide. I also have experience in psychiatric nursing and Alzheimer's care. I also worked for several years at schools of nursing as both an instructor and faculty member. I'm looking for a job that allows me to make a difference. Help people to smile more.
