About Alyssa

I'd describe my personality as patient, responsible, and energetic. I love working with kids because I love to get to watch them grow and know that the care I'm providing is making a difference in their childhood. I'm looking for a job in which the family is welcoming and loving. I started working with kids before I started high school, over 7 years ago. I have always had younger siblings, though, so I have always been responsible for kids. In my spare time, I like to read, do yoga, see my family, and go for walks. One thing you should know about me is I will do everything I can to ensure I provide a safe and nurturing environment for the kids. I am easily able to think of things to help encourage a child to do clean up their toys or get dressed, when this is something they don't want to do. I am also creative and love to play games like teacher or princesses. Safety is also a huge priority of mine, and I am very careful with the kids.
