I have much experience working with children ages 5-10 both inside and outside of a classroom setting. I have previous experience as a nanny for a 5-year-old through care. com. Very efficient is the phrase that comes to mind when I think of Alma. She expertly filled the role of the Literacy Teacher in the after school program. I am the director of such program and I had the pleasure of having Alma for the last year. I was particularly impressed by Alma's ability to handle even the toughest students - and effortlessly. That skill often takes years to develop among teachers; but it seems to come natural to her. No matter how tense things got with a student, Alma would make sure the child always go with positive feedback and a smile from her. Any child would be lucky to have Alma as a teacher/caregiver.
