I am a professional teacher and tutor turned mom. Although I love teaching, I took a step back from the traditional classroom to stay at home with my own little ones. However, I am excited to continue working with students outside of the classroom. I earned my bachelor's in elementary education and my master's in special education last year. I have also worked as a substitute teacher, a full-time first-grade teacher and a private tutor. I believe no two students are alike and I enjoy getting to know each one. Every student is capable of learning and growth but not always in the same way. By showing patience and love I get to know my student's needs and meet them where they're at. I am excited to get to know your child and help them reach their goals!

Words can not describe what a joy it has been to have Allison in our lives. Her enthusiasm and calm nature guides our kids through their studies each day. Having her during Covid has been a blessing and we feel fortunate to have found her. Allison has great attention to detail. She has detailed lesson plans and communicates well with our teachers at school. She devices her lessons and teaches with clarity and kindness. I have seen my 4th grader make some very large leaps of both independence of study and comprehension through Allison's teachings. My daughters reading level has quickly improved along with her confidence. Allison's knowledge of social studies has been a treat, normally a boring and least favorite subject for most children, she has brought fun and enjoyment to it. Studying Native Americans she taught my daughter basket making and the importance it had to their heritage and society. Examples like this really make Allison an exceptional teacher!
