About Allison

I would describe my personality as caring, friendly, and detail-oriented. I love working with children, and am interested in pursuing caregiving as a career path. I have been babysitting for close to 10 years, but have spent the past three years working in childcare in a more serious capacity, at both daycares and as a nanny. I am versed in caring for children from infancy to adolescence, but have the most experience looking after toddlers. My greatest strength as a caregiver is my patience. I have experience with neurodivergence, dealing with sickness and injuries, and supervising up to 20 toddlers while working as a teacher. My favorite part of caregiving is planning activities and finding creative ways to engage, like singing, crafts, and games. I recently moved to Bridgeport from Nebraska. I am looking for a full-time position that is potentially long term, but I am open to different possibilities during this phase of my move.
