About Allison

Hi! My name is Allison. I have many years of experience as a caretaker for my younger sister as well as having babysat for multiple families in the community. I have volunteered and interned at an agile learning community in Boone, NC for the past year, which has given me experience with facilitating self-directed learning and working with a variety of ages all at once! I am organized, responsible, active, and patient. I would love to help with light housekeeping, carpooling, or any other simple tasks. I am a sophomore at Appalachian State, pursuing a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, with a minor in Child Development. I am looking to build relationships and gain experience as I prepare for a career working one-on-one with children. Some of my passions include dance, art, sewing, guitar, and service.
