About Allison

As a dual-certified, veteran teacher (currently in my 12th year!), I am available to help a wide range of students with their deficits/struggles in reading and writing. My certifications in both General Education and Special Education have made me a well-rounded educator and equipped me to help kids by developing my ability to tailor instruction and differentiate based on "meeting them where they are at". In my classroom, I seek to make learning fun - because it is! I am passionate about helping kids learn, and I hope, as a tutor, to provide an extra service (outside of school) that helps your student critically think, engage, and thrive IN school. Grades 6-12!
