About Allison

Hello, my name is Ali and I majored in both Elementary and Special Education at Towson University! I am currently a first grade teacher within MCPS. I am very passionate about working with and helping kids that led to my career choice. I have a very bright, positive personality and love being around kids. I have experience working with children in both the classroom setting, as well as working and playing with kids at a personal level. Due to virtual school, I am unable to accept a full time position, however, I am tutoring many families this school year. The tutoring consists of reinforcing skills, practicing foundational skills, reading, practicing math skills, etc. Really whatever your child needs to become or stay successful during this virtual school year. I know having young kids learning this way has been a challenge, and think any way to reinforce skills with a teacher in person will be extremely helpful for growth and when moving onto the following grade level in person
