About Allison

My name is Allie and I just graduated from Boston University in May 2023 with a B. A. in Psychology with honors! I love to work with ALL children and I plan to attend graduate school in a year or two to become a child psychologist/clinician. I have worked as a babysitter/nanny for 8 years with a variety of families and ages. I also have worked as a Mental Health Counselor for teenagers (12-18 years) in a residential psychiatric hospital where I gained experience working with eating disorders, a variety of behavioral issues (ADHD, emotion regulation struggles, etc), transgender youth, teenagers with autism, and more. I am about to begin work as the Lab Manager for the Social Learning Lab at BU, where my research focuses has on children's social and cognitive development! I am looking to work 10-15 hrs/week starting in July for weekday afternoons/evenings (flexible). I am happy to provide tutoring help, work with children with special needs and daily household tasks!
