I have been working with children for the last 14 years, 2 in a mixed ages setting (ages 6 weeks to 5 years) and 8. 5 in infant care in a center setting (3 as a Teacher and 5. 5 as a Lead Teacher), and the last roughly 2. 5 as a nanny (starting with a 3-month-old and ending with a 3-year-old and a nearly 1-year-old). I became a nanny so that I could provide dedicated attention to infants as individuals. I have a master's degree in Early Childhood Education. I believe lessons are best taught through play by using the child's individual interests as the basis for learning. My extensive experience with infants and passion for this exciting period of development leaves me uniquely situated to care for infants and help them grow. I can provide a written educational philosophy. I am comfortable with animals, and have my own vehicle. I have references from my previous nanny family as well as from my time in the daycare. I am CPR and First Aid certified.
