About Aliya

My name is Aliya and I am a 23-year-old who recently graduated from Boston University. I grew up in Bloomington and worked as a YMCA camp counselor for 2 years as well as an after school tutor at Fairview elementary. With 8 years of childcare experience, including my other roles as an assistant preschool teacher, a nanny, and a Big Sister in the Big Brother Big Sister mentorship program, I have developed a deep understanding and appreciation for the developmental needs of children. I have a passion for reading, doing crafts, and playing games, which I incorporate into my childcare approach to make learning fun and interactive. My goal is to contribute positively to children's growth and well-being, creating meaningful and rewarding experiences each day. I am a non-smoker, have my own car, and I love pets!
