About Alison

Hi! I am an energetic, empathetic, patient, and creative graduate student with 2 years of tutoring experience looking to help students this summer. I can tutor all math subjects from elementary math to calculus and college math courses if needed. For science, I am able to tutor elementary, middle school sciences, and upper-level physics. For a little background about myself, I just received my BS in Biomedical Engineering at Virginia Tech and am home for the summer before I return to Virginia Tech in the fall to complete my accelerated masters program in Biomedical Engineering. I have been a tutor in college for 2 years and have done both individual tutoring and group tutoring for physics, differential equations, or mechanics of static bodies. Additionally, I have worked with younger kids, ages 7-9, through educational summer camps in order to improve their math and reading skills. Please let me know if you are interested to work with me!
