About Alida

Hello! My name is Alida. I am 23 years with 8 years of childcare experience. I am originally from RI, but have since moved to MA for my other job. I attended the University of New Hampshire at Manchester and received a Bachelor's in American Sign Language/English Interpreting. Through my time there, my education allowed me to connect with the Deaf community and become an advocate for early language aquisition and equal language access. My experience in childcare spans the course of 8 years where I worked as a child-care teacher/ camp counselor at a day-care/summer camp. I worked both 1:1 and in groups settings with kids age 5-13. I enjoyed getting creative and helping them understand the world around them. This is something I still very much enjoy and would be more than willing to implement with your children. I am trained in both CPR and First Aid as well as hold certifications in suicide prevention and behavioral development training.
