Working with seniors is incredibly rewarding. I have been fortunate enough to have created lasting relationships with many of the woman I have helped care for. My grandparents were my closest friends and never did I grow tired of their company. Even at age 42 I had weekly sleepovers with my grams. I have helped drive older folks around town to run errands, go to appointments, travel to see family, hang out or just to get out of the house. I spend time enjoy their time and love listening to stories of past times. There have been so many wonderful experiences for me. I have helped administer medications, get dressed, drive to and from Dr apt, clean the house, cook meals and oversee projects. In addition to being the person home when health aids came and made sure everything was being done correctly and other tasks that came about.
