About Alice

I am a seasoned retired Registered Nurse with over 35 years of hands-on experience. Throughout my career, I have cared for patients of all ages, but especially enjoy working with seniors. Under my care, many patients regain good health, independence, and confidence by partnering with a compassionate caregiver. I am highly regarded for my caregiving skills and bedside manner, which wholly consists of having a great sense of humor, being an active listener, and respecting my patient's journey/choices. On a personal note, I helped care for my brother-in-law who was diagnosed with ALS, and it was truly a journey of love. I am skillful at medication management and the palliative process. I enjoy cooking, I love animals, and respect the relationship patients have with their pets. I take my measure from the patient; if he or she wishes to take a walk, watch a movie or discuss a book, I consider my time spent with them all the richer. References furnished upon request.
