I have been an Occupational Therapist for over 20 years and have experience primarily with older adults/geriatrics in various settings as well as extensive experience with dementia population. I can provide assist with grocery shopping, errands, make adaptive equipment recommendations and environmental modifications, pickup/drop off prescriptions, provide transportation to appointments as well as assist with ADL's (self care such as showers etc), provide/carryover current exercise programs, assist with safe transfers and ambulation as well as respite/supervision if caregiver/family is out of home I seek only part time hours as I have a part time job with set hours 4 days a week

Alexis worked with our family providing care for my 85 year old Mom for close to a year. My Mom has dementia and required increasing assistance with managing ADLs and mobility including full support with showering, dressing, toileting and ambulating. Alexis also assisted with light meal prep and light housekeeping. Alexis was very dependable, and very respectful and kind with my Mom. Her past experience as an OT was very helpful as she was able to make good suggestions on assistive devices and ways to help my Mom manage like skills. We trusted Alexis implicitly in our home. We very much appreciated her cheerful attitude with us and when assisting my Mom. She was a welcome presence in our home. We highly recommend her to anyone with similar needs.
