About Alexis

Hi! I am a dedicated, fun, and patient tutor who majors in English Education for Secondary Teachers. I have experience working in classrooms from preschool- college, and am able to help primarily with English studies, reading, and writing. I pride myself in my abilities to help young students engage in the texts they are reading, turn their bright thoughts into well- rounded essays, and discover a love for the English language they may never have known they had. I also study theatre, art, dance, and minor in Music with a concentration in violin. I have done ballet for 16 years, play violin in the Western Kentucky University Orchestra, have experience in all aspects of theatre (acting, directing, choreographing, set design, costume design, hair and makeup, and crew) as well as college level theatre education courses, and I have a background in artistry and own my own Etsy shop where I sell original paintings.
