About Alexis

I have 12 years of experience working with children of all ages, from infant to 13 years old. I started out as a youth leader at a children's summer camp and volunteered at a women and children's shelter where I took care of the childcare and made meals for them. I worked in the nursery in church, and have worked as a nanny for several families throughout. I'm a mom as well, my son is 7 and if approved will be with me while I work. He is sweet, attentive, listens and plays well with all ages of kids. I have experience working with children who have special needs both cognitively and medically. I am great at connecting with kids, sensitive to children's emotions and I am very patient while still establishing firm boundaries with clear communication. I can prepare meals, play games, do art projects, supervise swimming, outings if allowed, and do light housekeeping. I have a very open availability and will do anything in my power to help out, whenever possible.
