About Alexis

Thank you for taking the time to review my application, I am currently employed as a Barber but had been in the medical field for 6 years as a caregiver and I do enjoy working with those in need and find myself still wanting to remain in the caregiving field. When I was in the field full time I was employed at Centre for Nuero Skills for 6 years working with many clients as they were on their healing journey. I am trained in Pro-act which is a behavior program to provide myself with the skills to safely protect myself along with the client if there were to be any behavioral situation. During my time there I was my clients companion to finish day to day activities up to and including: bathing, cooking, errands, medication, exercising, activities, etc. My true passion is helping others and giving back to the community. With the knowledge and skills that Ive developed working at a brain injury facility I truly feel I will transition very smoothly into a home setting.
