Alexis was hired to work for our family for a one year period. She quit without notice in two months due to medical issues. While I am empathetic to those issues, it has put a lot of stress on our family. She was excellent at the job however leaving us in this position and her not being understanding of how detrimental this was is the reason I am leaving this review. We could deal with the occasional lateness and short notice call outs however quitting without notice on two working parents is a little much. We approved her taking two weeks off to adjust to medication as we were told she "couldn't see herself going anywhere". We didn't look for a replacement because we were under the assumption she was coming back to work. After the two week period, she quit on the spot. While she was great in home, the purpose of a nanny is to have reliable home care for working adults.
