About Alexis

Hi! I'm Alexis and I am currently a student obtaining her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am a reliable, patient, and creative person who has 8+ years of experience caring for children, from infants to teenagers. During COVID I was a full-time nanny to three children from ages 6-13 for over a year, as well as multiple other families with kids ages 2 to 13 part-time. I have worked as a camp counselor, and have experience caring for children with special needs. What's most important to me is that children's curiosities and interests are encouraged, patience and gentleness are prioritized, and creativity is fostered all in a safe and supervised environment. I love art, and the outdoors, and have been told I'm a great homework helper! Working with children and watching them grow and explore life is my favorite part of working with kids. With all my skills and experience, I'm able to provide a supervised, safe, and stable environment.
