About Alexis

I have been a career nanny for over 20 years, specializing in children from birth through early elementary. I love to encourage a stimulating learning environment through exploration of the natural world, creating art projects, dancing to music, reading a lot of books, and imaginative play. I'd describe my personality as upbeat, creative, and reliable. I started watching neighborhood kids when I was 12 and I haven't stopped caring for children in some capacity ever since! I have worked with twins and with kids with special needs. Now I have two young kids of my own (2&4) who would make excellent built-in playmates for your children if it is mutually beneficial. We often can be found around town at parks or libraries, hiking or kayaking. When I get a moment to myself I love to read, write, and quilt.
