About Alexis

Hi! My name is Alexis. I am a 22-year-old caretaker born and raised in Georgia. As the oldest of my 6 siblings, caregiving has always been a part of my life. I did not think of it as a profession until I entered high-school and started to volunteer at my old elementary school. During my volunteering time, I tutored math to first graders. I fell in love with the feeling of making a positive impact on these children's lives. This lead to me pursuing Psychology at Georgia State University. During college, I began to babysit toddlers, youth, and assisted care taking for a senior. Once, I graduated, I studied to earn my Registered Behavior Technician Certification. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst, I started providing ABA therapy to kids on the spectrum of autism aged 3-9.
