I would describe my personality as warm, approachable, and trustworthy. I like caring for seniors because I learn something new every day. I believe seniors deserve dignity and respect. I enjoy to connect with seniors and as a result, our relationships become of value and the care provided is exceptional. I am seeking a job that I look forward to every day. That is a job where I enjoy what I am doing. Caregiving is a position to which I have a strong sense of purpose in. I started caring for seniors about three years ago as a way to get my foot into healthcare. Recently, I attended staff provided educational sessions on topics such as, body language, abuse and neglect, communication skills, patient centered care (care plans and medication management), accident prevention (hazards and falls), patient confidentially, independence encouragement techniques, and engagement of activities of daily living. In my spare time I like to try new recipes, get outside, and see my family.
