About Alexandra

I have over a decade of childcare experience! I have worked the past 4 years with kids ages 0-10 as a Teaching Artist at performing arts company. Through that job I was able to learn about child development and was trained in skills like, gentle-separation, age-appropriate play and how best to communicate with children. During the pandemic I worked as a shared nanny with three families, sometimes managing all five boys, under the age of 8, solo. I'm originally from Texas and received my Bachelor's in Fine Arts in 2018. I continue to work artistically, both in the theatre and as a writer. I'd describe my personality as empathetic, clever and relaxed. I like working with kids because they truly are just small people. Watching their personalities develop and flourish truly is a pleasure. I'm looking for a job that I can be useful in. I'm hoping to work with kind parents as well as kind children.
