About Alexandra

Hello I'm Alex and I'm 18 years old. I just graduated from Old Bridge High School, and will be an upcoming freshman at Towson University to study Nursing. Since I was 14 I worked with children being a CIT (counselor in training), at a camp for two years. On and off I have worked with a program called Just 4 Kiks which is a program in which we teach children with disabilities how to play soccer and have them socialize with other people like them! In my last 2 years of high school I was in a class called Child Development in which we had a full running preschool all day. We learned about different behaviors of children, the importance of patience, and overall health and what stages or milestones each child should reach for at different ages. Alongside the curriculum work, I was fortunate to reach these children over two years where they learned the alphabet, how to count, how to spell their name, learning how to read, and etc.
