About Alexandra

I am creative, adventurous and caring. I like working with kids because their excitement, joy and curiosity make every day brighter. I'm looking for a job that allows me to continue teaching and mentoring while also stepping out of the classroom and broadening what I can offer as an educator. I started working with kids over seven years ago as a horseback riding instructor. Since then I have gone back to school and earned a masters in education, gained my teaching certification and taught in schools both locally and abroad in Japan. One thing you should know about me is I am a certified teacher with years of experience in the classroom and also with children of all ages. Here in the US, I taught middle school. In Japan I taught a range of ages from three years of age to adult learners. My skills include helping students with school work, doing fun experiments, crafts, and projects, and challenging children's creativity.
