I have worked in finance full-time since graduating college in 2020, and due to recently getting married and moving, I am seeking more flexible income. I believe that math is a subject I'd be most suited to teaching. Concepts are impossible to grasp through memorization and repetition, and require patience, curiosity, and solving problems to understand. You do not want to be attempting to answer questions through regurgitation. One of the issues of the public schooling system that is difficult to solve, is that a classroom setting forces everyone to learn at roughly the same pace. If it takes you twice as long as everyone else to grasp a concept, this is not a reflection of your intelligence, it just informs you that you need to take more time! I have tutored kids with ADHD in the past as well as kids just needing some extra attention. I can effectively lesson plan, test prep, and keep things interesting.
