About Alessandra

Hey Hey, My name is Alessandra. I also go by Alle. I have been in the nursing field for about 10 years now and am currently in school to complete my RN. I have worked in long-term care/rehab for 3 years as a CNA. Which was my backbone on really learning how to assist residents who had Dementia and Alzheimer's as well as other illnesses that prevent them from being able to fully care for themselves. I am currently working in a hospital setting, medical-surgical, orthopedic and ER floor. Working alongside Doctors and Nurses. Assisting in various tasks from bathing, toileting, and feeding. I have knowledge in wound care and proper body mechanics while transferring. Private care experience has been with an elderly couple with dementia and a patient with Parkinson's. I assisted in transfer to and from bed with a walker and Hoyer assist, ADLs. As well as light cleaning, laundry, and preparing meals and assistance during meal times and medications.
