About Alden

Hi! I'm Alden! My first experience with children was helping run a summer tennis camp with my old tennis coach while I was in high school. This included teaching beginners tennis to 6-year-olds and older. May-August of 2017 I worked at the Hoover Recreation Center as a camp counselor for their summer day camp. My group consisted of approximately 13 9 and 10-year-olds. I worked at First United Methodist Church daycare in Troy, Alabama as an afternoon teacher for 10 3-year-olds first, and then a full-time teacher for eight 2-year-olds. I worked at Alabama Special Camp for Children and Adults and Camp Seale Harris, a camp for children with diabetes, as the Nature Director over the summer. I currently work for Mcwane Science Center and the Alabama Head Injury Foundation, both jobs temporary. I'm looking for something consistent and full-time starting in January while I continue my education, however, I am very flexible with hours, schedules, and responsibilities.
