About Alayna

Hello! I am a former pre-school performing arts teacher (specializing in ages 3-5) who loves being able to provide emotional, mental, physical, and educational support to children in their formative years. I describe myself as empathetic, logical, and nurturing. I'm looking for a job that has regular hours and expectations, that can fulfill the needs of all involved (the family, kids, and caregiver)! I started working with kids in 2017, mostly around family. Professionally, I was a 4th grade teaching assistant in '22 and then got to teach structured preschool in '23-24! In my spare time I like to write, watch movies, cook, and study culture/languages from all around the world! One thing you should know about me is that I am looking for a safe work environment and families that are big on positive communication! My skills include assisting children with emotional regulation, practicing/enforcing routine, and engaging in educational opportunities!
