Hi, I'm Alana! I'm an enthusiastic and experienced elementary school teacher with 2 years of teaching experience. I have a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Educational Studies from Connecticut College. My skillset lies in teaching reading, writing, and math to early elementary school (K-2) students. I believe that learning should be joyful and stimulating. I get to know my students personally and center our learning around topics they are interested in to make the learning engaging and fun. I am dedicated to helping my students see their strengths and build confidence in themselves as learners. In my free time, I like to go on long walks, take Pilates classes, cook and bake, and try new restaurants.
