Hello! My name is Alaafia Im 22 years old & live in San Pablo. I'm currently working on my AA in ECD in hopes of becoming a preschool teacher as well as a doula. I have worked in professionally in childcare for around 9 years with children up to 13 years old and as young as 2 months. I have experience working as a babysitter, teachers aide, a nanny, after school teacher & a childcare provider at a daycare. I love working with kids because I love watching them learn & grow. My favorite activities to do with children are karaoke, dancing , doing arts and crafts and sensory activities. I started Nannying when I was 18 years old. I was trained in Nannying under a doula. I am CPR , First Aid & AED certified. I also have my CA Food Handlers License and Im a mandated reporter. Alaafia is such a wonderful provider. My spouse and I met her at a daycare that our daughter attended. She was one of the daycare teachers. Alaafia was always extremely patient and gentle with our daughter who had a medical condition as well as a speech impairment. Alaafia gave us updates daily on our daughter's progress and also suggested helpful tips that put us at ease without seeming unsolicited. Unfortunately, we had to relocate to another school, however we would absolutely hire Alaafia as our nanny or babysitter for our little one. We highly recommend Alaafia as she is very professional, loving, accommodating, communicable and very patient with young children. Definitely worth a 5-star rating!
