I have 12 years of experience teaching in both public and private schools and homeschooling. I have taught K, 1st, 3rd, and 4th grades as a classroom teacher and taught 1 year K-5 art. I am a nurturing teacher who thinks social/emotional learning is just as important as academic learning. I love to incorporate art, music, and movement into my lessons! I would like to provide one-on-one tutoring, small group/tutoring, or support for remote learning students in a safe environment.

Aimee was a joy to have teach my then 1st grader last year. I was very hesitant to send my daughter back to school due to Covid. So I ultimately made the decision to keep her home, but knew I would have to find someone that could help her with her remote learning. Needless to say the 2020-2021 school year was not what we all expected, but Aimee went above and beyond for my daughter. Not only was she a joy to have at the house, but I feel that my daughter had learned more with the one on one attention and extras that Aimee provided her (special activities, growing butterflies, Dr. Seuss week, nature walks, extra reading with fun books, even crocheting ). I feel that she is really prepared for 2nd grade. I highly recommend Aimee, we will definitely miss her this school year.
