About Ahleah

I had the opportunity to volunteer at several nursing homes, including two of which were specific for Alzheimer's. I also had a grandparent who had Alzheimer's and diabetes who I assisted with before he moved to a nursing home. I assisted seniors with grocery shopping, laundry, cleaning up their homes, spending time and listening to stories about their childhood. I also helped sort medicine, get the mail, completed puzzles, and made sure someone was checking in on the seniors! Additionally, I completed a month of a clinical rotation in my geriatrics month with a physician who provided in-home care.
