About Abigail

Hello families! My name is Abby and I will be entering my third year at Michigan State University this fall to study Elementary Education. I am focusing on preschool through third grade with a specialization in birth to kindergarten education. I wrapped up my second year at the MSU Childhood Development Laboratories, where I primarily worked with infants and 18-month-olds, but I have experience with all ages under 10. Besides that, I am very passionate about working with children, and I want them to have as much fun as possible! I believe in using gentle, exploration-based teaching methods and allowing the child to problem-solve before intervening. I have primarily worked in classrooms and I am looking for a new experience, I am very dedicated to my work and I am passionate about the field I'm going into. I am rarely late, dependable, and very open to negotiation! I look forward to meeting you and your family!
