About Abigail

Hi (: I'm an experienced educator with a passion for equipping learners of all ages with the tools they need to succeed! *Nothing comes before the safety, dignity, and well-being of the students I work with. *I use research based practices above my own intuition. *I have 6 years of non traditional classroom teaching experience. I have taught Adult ESL, After-School Career Prep, Sunday School, and tutored privately. My students have ranged in age from 4-84, and I am comfortable with learners from a variety of backgrounds. *I have over a decade of childcare experience of all types (nannying, teaching classes, supervising large groups, babysitting, etc.) *I have a strong character! *I have *most* of a bachelor's degree in Adult ESL (1 semester short!) *I work hard to be kind, compassionate, determined, hard-working, and resilient.
