About Abigail

Hello! I have over 20 years of experience in a cargiving role. I am passionate about helping people to live independently. I am responsible and professional and believe everyone is deserving of dignity and respect. I recently left a job as manager at an In Home Support Services company where I had worked for 20 years helping individuals with disabilities live independently. I assisted individuals with all aspects of daily life and managed a staff of 15. In addition to my professional experience, I provided assistance and care to my grandmother so she could stay in her home and continue to live independently as she aged with dementia. In adddition to my own time with her providing care and managing the household, medical, and financial aspects, I also supervised the other caregivers that came to her home. I want to continue to work directly with individuals in their homes. That is how I have found the most fulfillment professionally, and helping others is part of my core values.
