Looking for someone starting mid February to watch my almost 2-year-old son while I work from home. Schedule may vary but typically it would be 8-4 p.m. Monday-Friday (you will never work weekends). About who needs care: My father has a rapidly fatal form of dementia, he is unable to stand without assistance, and requires help with all movement/daily living activities. At the moment he can still feed himself with minimal assistance, but needs one or two people to help transfer him from bed to wheelchair, to toilet, to couch, etc... He is at risk of slipping out of his wheelchair or bed due to weird muscle movements that happen at random times. He cannot move himself in the wheelchair around the house. Trips outside of the house are not anticipated, except on the porch. Prefers intellectual conversation, history, art, music, nature. About the care needs: Ability to lift to assist with transfers, help with sponge bathing ideal. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
